Any good healthy market DEMANDS a healthy price Discovery mechanism. A good healthy market is about a multitude of stakeholders and participants buying and selling. JPM's action is all about them AT THE DETRIMENT of the market-making stakeholders, individual investors and corporate investors. By virtue of their market cap and size, they are an abomination if a giant in the market place leveraging the paper markets to steal from and cull from the genuine market participatants. They should not have even been allowed to exist within that space and should have been broken up by the same antitrust principles that required Microsoft to be broken up circa 2 decades ago. Clearly regulators are either lacking (1) the resources to bring JPM (and other manipulating commercial banks), or (2) the will to bring JPM to task. Regardless,.. Banning JPM would go a long way towards restoring a healthy and thriving marketplace for precious metals.

As someone who accumulates sound money as a store of wealth, I find it extremely disingenuous that the agencies tasked with policing the trading of gold and silver are allowing the prices to be manipulated by banks such as JPM. It must stop!
