I am starting this petition to help many Muslim girls in the UK who are being pressured or forced to wear a headscarf. There are a significant amount of young women who do not want to wear the hijab but may fear to remove it due to many reasons like criticism and shame from the muslim society or maybe their family. It is the 21st century where headscarves just do not suite to be worn especially in the UK. I am 100% many Muslim girls from mainly from an Asian background will feel a huge relief and freedom if the hijab is banned.
