I don’t want my kids to live in a country with guns everywhere. It’s scary enough today that shooters are killing innocent kids in school. I know parents today have fear that their kids won’t make it back home from school. We are a nation with the freedom of speech, religion, press, and assembly. Taking away guns wouldn’t be the downfall of the United States. If anything it could be a new beginning for the land of the freedom. People have lost their lives from the second amendment. Families, Spouses, and children have lost a loved one because of firearm in the United States.

The gun lobby thinks we will just go away if they ignore us long enough. We are currently getting our strategy together to force these politicians to look at the bloodshed caused by their obsession with the second amendment.

The massive surge in support proves people are finally fed up with the NRA and the politicians who prioritize gun lobby money over our children. Nobody is going to ignore us now that this movement has real momentum. We are going to force the hand of these cowards in government until they stop the slaughter.

I am so tired of seeing the news every week. We should be able to go to the store or movies without worrying about someone with a gun.
Enough is enough. My kids come home crying because of these drills and I am tired of living in fear every single day.
This is just common sense. Nobody needs a military weapon to go hunting or defend a house. The world has changed and these laws need to updated.
My nephew was in a lockdown last year and he still cant sleep right. Its just not normal that kids have to be scared of school.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Basically what this means is that we have the right to keep and bear arms and the reason why this Amendment was included in the Constitution was so that in the future if the government tried in impose martial law, meaning they would control everything, we have the right as citizens to rebel against government tyranny. And by the way, all this crap about banning "assault weapons" such as the AR-15 is not a valid argument. According to The Daily Signal, "Handguns were used in 19 times as many murders than rifles were in 2016, according to the Uniform Crime Reporting data. Handguns killed nine times as many persons as rifles, shotguns, and other guns did combined." Why are focusing on the guns and not the people wielding them? Guns are like a lot of things. It is not the item itself, it the person using the item and their intent.

Not to be rude, but we have a right to keep and bear arms. I have grown up with guns my whole life, and I think the solution to this problem is to tighten the security in schools and other public assemblies.
