This project is completely out of scale and inconsistent with the character of Balmain and Rozelle. We are already well served for Hardware and Timber.

we don't need bunnings. We have a local balmain hardware store and would like to keep him in business. Please don't kill our community.

Bunnings have there place and its not in Balmain. They have killed small family run hardware stores and in my opinion should just F off my two cents worth

The presence of this store on that site can only result in horrendous traffic snarls and accidents. Roberts and Mullens already have many traffic issues at most times of the day. Sheer madness.

Will cause Traffic chaos to already contested streets and roads; Balmain/Rozelle already has 2 hardware stores. Inappropriate development for a residential area

This will greatly affect a lot of peoples lives . Please email council to officially object at [email protected]. Issues of traffic , contamination , loss of community and business , it will make it so hard to get to darling st all business and residents will be affected

This is ridiculous and designed to create traffic jams in a residential area already struggling. Local stores are also already struggling - let's look after Australian small businesses.

I am a local Rozelle resident and do not support this application. The traffic impact on already congested peninsula access roads will be unacceptable.

Come and watch the semi trailers backing out of this street. It stops traffic, buses and destroying side mirrors. I watch them backing out from Storage King into our driveway back and forth trying to get out. Truck drivers themselves getting out frustrated trying to find the best way out without damaging property and parked cars. Buses are reversing back and forth just to turn into Mullens Street from Parsons. I watch this everyday.

There are 2 Bunnings stores within easy driving distance of Balmain - absolutely no need for another one.

I live in Parsons Street, Rozelle, 100 metres from the proposed development. If approved, our lives will be impacted on a massive scale. I am strongly opposed, not least on the traffic impact., which will be horrendous.

I wish it didn't take a specific example of something happening right in your own backyard to get people interested in how our communities run. Nonetheless I'm glad some action is being taken. Our local businesses struggle enough. We have perfectly good hardware options on the peninsula and larger Bunnings alternatives are not far away. This will have a net negative impact on the community so it's a no-brainer - no Bunnings.

I don't want Bunnings here. We already have hardware stores in keeping with the area who will be destroyed and they serve us well. The traffic is already too great. Go away Bunnings - it is an over development and will no doubt be ugly.
