Banning him from the pulpit is not good enough! His institute/ hawza should also
Be closed for our children as it does not follow the shia school of thought. He is misguiding our youth and is a danger to our community in birmingham and elsewhere. If he is not stopped now we will all live to regret. We start petitions etc in Muharram/ Ramadhan and then forget about it. This time let's get together and take firm action and once and for all cure this cancer. Let's join hands say Labbayk ya Hussein

The problem is deeply rooted. Not only Arif Bata but all his associates should be suspended and islolated. Kumail Rajani, Jaffer Ladak, Imran Panjwani, Aliraza Khaki, Aliraza Bhojani and others. The Khoja Community must also revolt against the leaders and trustees of their Jamaats; and councillors of the federations who are the followers of Arif Bata.

My dear ummah, know that freedom of expression is a fundamental human right that is essential for living a life. The importance of freedom of expression in Islam can be seen in the practice of shura. Shura allows differences of opinion to exist to get the best solution. Each individual is allowed to submit their opinions for the benefit of all mankind. Islam does not forbid the speech and expression as long as it does not violate the Quran and hadith.
If you feel it necessary to rebuke the good Sheikh, call him out for what it is, why allow Shaitan to get the best of you? Will banning him for his innate scholarly intellect change his way of thinking? He’s just as human as you are; only his vocation is in religious service and study does that make you any better than him?
