I clearly heard the Good Sheikh apologise for using the word ‘Carnival’ however he then went on to confirm why he has problem with the Walk.
The Good Sheikh has exercised his option as a free man to comment. Rightly or wrongly let God be the judge.
Equally I am excercising My right as a free man to voice my opinion on this petition.
I fail to see what’s Haram in that.
That’s the beauty in heeding to the words of Aba Abdillah “KUNU AHRARAN FI DUNIYAKUM” - BE FREE IN YOUR WORLD
Finally I hope the Good Sheikh will learn from this saga that it does not do him or his cause any good by becoming controversial.

We need leaders of the community with proper religious qualifications. When the leaders of the community themselves are jahil, what good can be expected of them?
The enemies of the ahlulbayt and their followers are dancing on our mimbers now a days.
Anybody preaching anything against the teachings of the ahlulbayt should never ever be allowed in mehrab or on mimber.
