Farhan, the use you suggest for this petition is quiet apt. The problem arises from our reversing or engineering the natural order of things. Bata is something to be used on our soles when visiting unclean places or cesspit. By changing the use of najis footwear and turning it into an ammama to be worn on the head when ascending the pulpit, we have demonstrated our stupidity. Therefore using the petition paper as lavatory accessory is quiet natural.
On a more serious note in no other religious, charity or business does such obscene amounts of Khum's flow without any controls and authorisation. Nor are these charities collecting Khums subject to any value for money review. A few docile friends subservient to him serve as legal trustees and rubber stamp every thing. This misuse of Khums and complete absence of accountability is the root of our problems. One has only to look at World Federation, CoEJ and local Jamats to see for oneself the moral depravity and absence of any discernible intellect in our institutions or leaders.

Much to the disappointment of Khoja Jamats, World Federation and related bodies this petition has been a milestone. The Khoja's have rebelled against their despotic and corrupt rulers and have now discovered an independent forum to challenge them. They have rebelled against a Mr Bata who has been distorting their religion while the WF has looked other way. Whilst the Khum's of the followers of Syed Sistani has been misappropriated, the WF under its Secretary General has been leading its great and good and fraudsters and embezzlers to Davos for accolade from the global capitalist.

Well said Feroze. The Khum's you refer to must be considered a misappropriation as the leading Marja Syed Sistani has long withdrawn his authorisation. It follows that those who are continuing to fund him consider him Mr Bata to be a Marja in his own right. This is consistent with Wikipedia ranking him as an Ayatollah.
The fact remains only 991 individuals have signed this petition and answered the call of Imam Hussein 'Hal Min Nasirin YanSurna - Is there anyone to help me'. This is the true measure of the fear, coercion and indifference that has griped our communities. Ulema's are fearful of signing up for loss of employment or stipend while the community leaders and peers are fearful of being on the wrong side of the only Khoja Ayatollah..

Today we celebrate Eidd e Zahra on account of Abu Lulu having dealt with the second of the usurper and the lead arsonist at Lady Fatemah's house. This act of Abu Lulu and the actions of Amir Mukhtar al- Thaqafi gives us much to celebrate.
Mr Bata, the cursing of those seized the pulpit at Saqifah will continue to eternity as will this Eidd. You can continue to lament at this practise of ours and persist in your admiration of the Caliphs but please, not from the mimbar funded by the Khums of Ahlul Bayt. A Khums which has generously sustained you for past 30 years.

Please refer to certain individuals as AyatuShaitaan as they are more deserving of such titles be aware though it may upset the iblees as he was not a hypocrite like Bata! But it's quite as it matches with intentions

Can anyone enlighten this forum on how much Khums Mr Bata and his Hawza Al Mahdi Institute is collecting every year? We now know his Khums Ijazza was withdrawn by Ayatollah Sistani in an unprecedented move. Nonetheless, as he is now an Ayatollah according to wikipedia, he continues to collect Khums in defiance of the opinion of principal Marja.
