This petition needs to go to NASS and all the Houses of Assembly of all the Northern states. Need for federal and state legislation to stop Alimajiricin. It's gruesome to any child development. So is need to stem how many children a family sld bare if they can't care for them.

Almajiranci is simply modern slavery and is not in conformity with the teachings of Islam.

I'm an advocate and i've been looking forward on where to and how to start.. The issue of Almajiranci is tryna get outta hands the children out there are being matreated, suffocating, deprived and abused by some individuals and some of teachers there teachers.. The youth and the columnist need to join hands to call the government attentional to take decisive action and set protocols in this regard in as far as Almajiranci is concern.. It is time to come together to put a stop to this menance. Many people are using this to bring kids that they have no intention of caring for, into the world.

I join my voice in the call for the banning of Almajiranci in Nigeria. These young children deserve better. Our govt should make it mandatory for every child of school age to be in school; every parent must be compelled to send their children to school! SAY NO TO ALMAJIRANCI; SAY NO TO CHILD LABOUR!

This is the 21 century, no child should be in this abusive condition to get any kind of education. We are the only muslum majority community with this barbarism in the world, this is not Islam. Our govt has to end this and provide them with education in good conditions.
