This almajiri of a thing promote nothing but increases the rate of crimes in the northern part of the country, it really disturb the peace in me seeing child of 2-3 years roaming around the street begging for what to eat. We just can’t continue living like this.

It's high time we ban Almajiranchi because it's main purpose has been defeated, it's now a form of child abuse, in which young one's are exposed to untold hardship and abuse.
If we don't kill almajiranchi now, we're sitting on a gun powder which will consume us soon.

For me northern Nigeria and the whole country as a whole can never progress if we continue to ignore our brothers and sisters on the streets.. there parent have failed them, the government has failed them and we have failed them. Most of the children I have spoken with are very much interested in going back to school but the challenges come from their parents and their teachers.
I’ve been looking for people with like minded ideas on solving this huge huge problem. I will give it my everything to make sure this problem is tackled. Thank you

It is no longer what it used to be. The children are only subjected to inhuman treatments, torture and making them unable to realise their potentials. Majority of them can't recite the Qur'an as expected. Let the government make it in the form of Islamiyya.

Almajiranci needs to be completely banned in Nigeria. Let the kids go back to their parents and a strong punishment and law should be in place. If you know you can't take care of your kids and educate them then you're in no position to have kids in the first place. Enough of this nonsense already.
