Ban All Cruise Ship Dockings in Victoria During Coronavirus Pandemic

If as Canadians we are to self quarantine for 14 days after travel why would we let a cruise ship of people off to explore? Makes no sense.

No cruise ships should be stopping on east coast either, anywhere in Canada for that matter.

We need to protect our community

Please cancel the cruise ships till the Corona virus is in control

This is should be obvious. As it is currently recommended that Canadians Not travel on cruise ships at this time, it follows that it is not a safe situation to have them dock in our community.

If people are told not to take them,why are we inviting them

Wake up! We have to at least make an effort to stop this virus. Cruise ships are huge Petri dishes, stop them from coming to Victoria!!! Think of your own family as well as everyone else.

I am a 60yr senior and would prefer my safety over profits

It's not worth the risk to the island. We are restricted here because we are an island.

Why would they even consider letting them come. Ridiculous. We are all stuck on an island, with not enough doctors, the clinics have four hour wait times. We can't handle that many sick people. Residents should come first.

I have a compromised immune system and if I get this virus there's a good chance I will die. I'm only 31, please don't let the cruise ships onto the island until the pandemic has passed

Please use common sense. Prevent the spread of this thing.

Were you thinking of banning foreign students attending universities and schools here? Their fees keep the place running.
