I believe the use of 1080 does not follow recommended manufacturer guidelines. I also see a conflict of interest in the manufacturers shareholders and our governing bodies. I foresee long term damage to our ecosystems due to the current use of this product

1080 is ecological crime against nz people animals and bushland. I hold it as a personal crime against me and my children and demand it be stopped or the people dropping it are charge with ecological terrorism

As an expat kiwi living in aussie it really saddens me to see my beautiful country devoid of birdlife and animals due to the careless stupid and illegal use of 1080. Wake up nz the world is watching.

The Government own Orillion https://www.orillion.com/), which is the company that imports and manufactures the poisonous food that is aerially spread across New Zealand's forests and waterways, is a State Owned Enterprise.
So there's a conflict of interest when it comes to making the rules about how this deadly poison is used. When it's the govt that owns the company, should it also be the one that is making it easier to spread the poison? Because that's what's happening.
