I am for this petition. As others have stated, the injuries that some Firefighters, Paramedics, EMTs and other First Responders have can not be seen, along with the ones that are seen and everyone knows about. This petition should be given full consideration, and passed.

It’s discriminatory in nature to not allow firefighters and paramedics the option to treat their pain and mental illness with a legal medication offered in the state they work and live in. Baltimore city’s own attorney General Marilyn Mosby publicly stated she wasn’t going to prosecute marijuana cases any longer. Why are citizens of Baltimore who aren’t using marijuana legally being afforded legal luxuries when our own public servants aren’t allowed to use this medicine legally? It’s a disgrace and the Baltimore City Fire Department should be ashamed of its current position on medical marijuana.

This would be huge for firefighters/emts. We have a stressful job. Smoking marijuana off the job should not matter. Totally hope this passes!
