Please don't deny these courageous men and women the use of med Marijuana. It's better then being addicted to opioids.

Medical marijuana saves lives. I’ve seen this plant help so many people. Why can’t it help the ones who help us?

A lot less suicides and PTSD would happen if this was implemented. Also members who have used will not lose there jobs because they are attempting to cope. A way to regulate it would be to do mouth swab drug tests for on the job use. It stays in saliva for 8 hours but in the urine for 14-60 days. Also if a member is a medical recipient that member should be subjected to EVOC after use to gage their capabilities. Current studies of driving under marijuana influence is bias to combat the war on drugs and it’s completely inaccurate.

People have constitutional right to persue happiness. Medical problems can make this pursuit of happiness difficult. Medicine can help. Cannabis IS medicine.

Improving the quality of life for our first responders should be a top priority for ALL of us! Too many are forced to turn to prescription medications or alcohol to alleviate mental and emotional pain, PTSD, etc. Please move this forward it is an issue of our compassion and humanity.

I completely agree with this due to our state being I'm an opiate crisis, I'm hoping lifting this will also allow opportunities for those who do use marijuana to help the community. I really hope this is approved.

I know many firefighters who are fighting their own internal battles from the events they have witnessed. Their scars leave a deeper mark than anyone can imagine. Please hear their cries.
