We, the undersigned, would like to have private video-taping allowed as an option for all pro/am and amateur events at ballroom and latin dance competitions. All competitors are different and videos are an invaluable training tool for competitors. Therefore, the monopoly, pricing and quality of private vendors is neither adaptable nor sufficient to meet every competitor's specific needs, especially in consideration that most competitors have already paid large amounts in entry and admission fees just to compete. We feel that competitions that do allow private video-taping are more supportive of competitor's interests and therefore more appealing as a competitive option.
