Time for leadership that is in tune to the desires of the citizens .

He's lost complete sight over what he was hired to do. Bringing cyber-bullies to meetings and NIMBY shaming isn't the way to move forward.

Elected officials are obliged to serve the people who elected them.

Time to go Mike. The so called "leadership" with this latest open camping debacle makes it glaringly apparent we need some serious changes in who is making decisions with regards to our ailing city.

It is clear that Mr. O'Brien has lost perspective. The tax payers of this city deserve leadership with clear direction; we deserve a more balanced approach than allowing city parks to be the next dumping site for the homeless. We need to learn from Portland's mistake and let the Mayor's plan be implemented along with guidance by common sense, as Tim Burgess clearly has laid out. Mr. Obrien has failed the taxpayers and should not be on council, as his allegiance appears to be with ACLU and homeless camps rather than serving the tax payers who are suffering with increasing property crime and increasing number of drug use and homeless in our city. We need to enforce the laws that are in place. The council should not have the power to pass legislation that cuts across decades of land use and zoning laws while ignoring any environmental impact, let alone the impact to our communities. We all should hold a vote of no confidence in Coty Council, including Mike O'Brien.

The next time MOB listens to and answers questions from his constituents with a direct answer will be the first.

Let me know what I can do to help! I live in his district in Greenwood and I've been trying to get his office to respond to my issues and concerns, going on 2 years.

Mike O'Brien needs to represent his whole district. That requires balancing points of view using common sense which he has proven to me and I suspect others that he lacks in big way.

No homeless encampments in Ballard parks!

He does not represent his constituents in District 6. he ignores our problems, demesnes us. It works only to further his own agenda and his own career. He has been the worst representative we could imagine.

Mike O'Brien needs to listen to his constituents, not special interest groups. We want a safe, clean city, not a jumble of social justice initiatives that make it hard for the middle class to survive here.
