Your position on homeless encampments is wrong, to the extent that you do not represent your district in a sensible way.

Mike O'Brien, you aren't listening and representing your taxpaying citizens of Ballard. It's time you start doing that if you want to represent us.

We just passed a park levy a while back which I was all for. Now you're going to let homeless people who pay nothing camp in our common areas, no way. That is not compassion, its stupidity!!

Homeless in our parks is not the answer. There are real, proven solutions out there:

Mike O'Brien fled to a safe space rather than listen to the last hour and a half of public testimony against his insane proposal.

He just doesn't listen to anyone in his district. He refused to speak with me on the phone before the homeless camp went up on Market St.

I know everyone is talking about the homeless but lack of parking is still an issue

I need a City Council Rep that represents my view points. I don't believe any of our current reps represent even one single view that I have. Time to make a change, or time to move out of Seattle.

even tho he may have a heart, O'Brien's head is in the clouds. We need a council rep who uses both parts.

We need councilmembers who listen to the majority of the community , not just the special interest groups who think they have "the right" answer to our homeless problem.

Yes, this needs to be done. Soon. Giving the homeless the right to camp ANYwhere, even in schoolyards, for heaven's sake. That truly is insane!
