We don't need an activist! We need a council member who represents the people!

We need a workhouse, not a showhorse

Mike O'Brien needs to learn to respect democratic process and to stop trying to railroad his ill conceived agenda through Seattle City Council.

We need representatives on the Seattle City Council who actually represent the voice of the people they are in office to represent instead of their own political agendas.

Its my belief you are not representing the goals of the people who elected you.

Whether it's the decision to throw good money after bad for Pronto, or this ridiculous proposal to allow homeless camping in our parks, Mike O'Brien has shown himself to be totally incompetent and completely out of touch with what his district needs and wants.

Mike O'Brien has been unresponsive in any meaningful way to several detailed analyses of issues involving Ballard. that I have prepared and provided to his office. On a few occasions I have received form letters that did not acknowledge my views or any of my specific points. In general his written communications are defensive in tone. He is clearly pursuing his own agenda on citywide issues but he has not represented the best interests of Ballard or the remainder of his district. The two biggest issues in Ballard are 1) public health and safety issues from petty crime and degradation of public spaces from homeless or itinerant people; and 2) over development (including destruction of existing affordable housing) paired with lack of accompanying infrastructure improvements. O'Brien has not been a leader in protecting Ballard. He has led in throwing Ballard under the bus in promoting issues that directly harm existing taxpaying Ballard residents.

Mike O'Brien does not represent his constituents. He is doing more harm than good for the City of Seattle and needs to be removed from the Seattle City Council.

Mike O'Brien does not represent the people who vote, who pay taxes and who want to help the homeless. He is divisive, does not listen to his constituents and is ineffective at any solution because no one trusts him anymore.

If everyone that signed this got 7 to 8 other people they know to sign it too. Mr. O'Brien might not be to happy? But I sure would. Please tell all your friends and family too. Thanks Cory

I am tired of ultra liberal, nanny government. It should not be that bike issues always trump cars and homeless always trumps taxpayer.

There are several other council members who also need to go.

If I had known that Mike O'Brien planned to allow camping in Seattle parks, I never would have voted for him.

Most homeless people need real mental health care and real drug and alcohol rehab. Those and the children need real help immediately. Leaving them out in the outdoors is cruel and dangerous to them, to the homed and to the environment. The freewheeling homeless person that enjoys the lifestyle needs to clean up and be independent, not mooch off the system. All this is easier said than done, I realize.

Liberal extremists need to be reminded that working class taxpayers are people too, and we deserve better than feces and needles on our doorstep.
