The bakerloo line extension at old Kent road is much needed to help with the long term regeneration of Tower Bridge road and Old Kent road.

Much needed SE to NW public transport link to take pressure off the traffic on this vital London artery. It will hugely benefit this underprivileged (not just in transport terms) part of the capital.

The larger part of Peckham, i.e. not immediately around Peckham Rye has poor connectivity compared to other parts of London. Although there are bus routes on Old Kent Road they're often full to capacity.

An extension of the Bakerloo line down Old Kent Rd is crucial - current bus routes are at capacity as they are almost always full or worse, overcrowded. For too long the transport needs of residents in this area have been ignored, the tube is desperately needed.

It is about time the south east of London had improved transport infrastructure. We even don't get Boris bikes!

Long overdue, SE London needs to be brought vaguely into line with the rest of London.

I think any tube service in south east london can only be a good thing. It's an area that is changing quickly and getting more and more crowded so any additional transport options will have a high usage. Just look at the current overcrowded buses in the south east and how quickly the passengers on teh Overground have increased.
