I only wish I knew about this and the Marchman Act years ago. Perhaps my son at 33; wouldn't be in such turmoil. There is always help....sometimes we just give up from being exhausted with emotional suffering...

COULD I PETITION a Baker act for my 22 year old son who had been clean from pills and is denying taking them again but we see that he's in a bad place again?

I could use a baker act on my sister who has a very bad drinking problem .. Denys it then admits it but keeps on doing it ..she is a single mother of two kids ..i think the baker act will help family memebers like myself to get helpfor a very addicted person .who we care about a lot.
