Following our appearance in Supreme Court on Monday we are quietly confident that so long as the judge reads our affidavits and submissions we will come out on top.
We are forming a non-profit association to be called the 'Association for the Protection of Bahamians from the Banks' which will go National and are asking for people in Nassau, Freeport and the rest of our family of islands to help with the promotion of this organization and to assist with getting people to sign this petition and to push for an Ombudsman.

My house was taken from my wife and I a few years ago, was a nightmare, I was unable to afford to get lawyers to help me. I support this Ombudsman 100%.

How over due is this project for the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Mr. Spicers, advisor introduced me to this concept several months back and "BAMB" the lights turned on. It was then, upon reflection, how much we were taken advantage off in this country. I personally can tell, countless of horrid stories of how the "Mafia" style attitudes the banks have dealt with locals. I am so grateful that FINALLY, we have relief on the way........

May everyone who cares about the people in our islands here please sign this petition. For too long Bahamians have not had the voice to speak up to the banks. Thank God for Mr. Spicer and his advisor's idea to protect us all. If only the wealthy knew what’s happening here... I’ve seen the countless signed sheets - 1,000 people can't be wrong!

If the above is true then the bank needs to be made an example of to ensure this does not happen again.

An ombudsman for the bahamas would be in the best interest for all bahamain consumers. This would avoid
cotstly litigations on both sides

Please take the time to rrconsider how the bank's actions are affecting this one particular client's situation, and it's own future if it persists in taking advantage of the people who use the banking system.
