Plastic definitely causes a lot of pollution. We recycle as much as we can, but plastic bags are one thing that most places won't even recycle.

I find it disturbing that anyone wouldn't want to stop pollution, to stop the animals from choking, to stop the plastic that takes forever to deteriorate. To make our world a better planet; to save our planet.

While we lived in Germany we had to pay extra for plastic bags. Almost 100% of the time I remembered my reusable bags. Now we are back in America it always blows my mind how many plastic bags the grocery store uses to bag my groceries if I forget my reusable bags. It seems so wasteful.
