Good on you, Lauren, for lobbying for long overdue recognition of the often-overlooked and underestimated role of Location Manager. Having learnt my trade in the UK, I am a huge admirer of the British Academy Awards - and I know that the inclusion of LMs will enhance the Academy - and the British film industry

About time for locations to be recognized for the contribution they make to the look of the film as well as handling the complications of filming on location.

Supervising location managers. We are the eyes for the production designer and director and are the ones who bring these choices to them.
