This child should not have died. Social workers are unable to do their job properly because they are over stretched and rushed. The social worker that handled this case was dealing with 50 percent more child protection cases than the supposed maximum. The question we should all be asking ourselves, is how, in this day and age did something like this happen. This petition is to call for a radical change in the law and regulations that are meant to keep our children safe, and to support the overloaded and under funded conditions that social workers have to work in. We cannot bring baby p back, but we can all join together and unite to stop anything like this happening again.
