Given the circumstances, they should give the little girl her dad's name without needing him present. Especially when his family fully support the mother's decision!

I think it is fucking sick that woman doesn't need to pay £700 just to find out that David the lady's dead boyfriend is the father to the child and the government doesn't have to make her pay for a DNA test when they are free anyway the government are making tax cuts and making living hard for the U.K. Don't make the poor woman pay for the DNA and she has the right to put David's name on the birth certificate and they shouldn't say no to putting his name when his isn't going to be in the baby's life anymore that is just not fair the government can go and suck dick,
