The father was taken suddenly away from his love ones, they are left broken hearted......The baby should be able to have the dad's name to enable the daughter to hold onto something in the loving memory of her dad.

I think this family have gone through enough time for things to change!! Hopefully the powers that be will see sense and get this ridiculous law changed very soon xx

I can understand this law if the father is still alive but as he has died and the other children are his, it is obvious this child is his!

There's times I'm disgusted at the ethics of this country! £700 for a DNA test to prove her dead partner is the father, surely somewhere common sense will prevail! Good luck & hope they listen xx
