The mother stands by the abuser instead of her son. I'm hoping the parents adopt their grandson. I do not think their daughterdid mature enough to make decisions for her child she hasn't so far.

personally I feel its best if the grandparents take over . they have been there since day one and he needs their on going support. the mother can just go do what she does best by not being around .
