Desperately needed, so many large vehicles use this road and get stuck passing each other, blocking the road for ages.

This should have been carried out a long time ago

This road needs improvement it’s dangerous expressly in the dark.

This work should have been done years ago, the level of traffic makes it completely unfit for purpose in its current state

Drive it everyday, has already cost me two very expensive wheels and tyres with the potholes. South hams don’t payout for a lot of damage done with the road being so narrow but still let large commercial vehicles down the road only to get stuck at Loddiswell. Simply put just make wider and a resurface to ease the traffic going to the places that south hams are spending to much money on in the towns. Please make it a place for people to come but make it accessible without incident otherwise they will not come back again and the money your spending in towns go to waste. Logical thinking if there is any out there.

This stretch of road is notorious for hold-ups and severe delays all year round. It only takes 2 vehicles larger than cars to meet to cause massive problems.

I have to take a 10 mile detour to avoid this road. I have had too many near misses.

I have wasted many hours stuck in traffic on this road. A widening project would be gratefully recurved!

I wholeheartedly agree with this! I travel this road everyday and have nearly had countless accidents due to cars trying to squeeze through gaps that are not big enough. It is atrocious at rush hour and throughout the day when lorries, tractors and caravans meet causing severe delays.

This road definitely needs improvement. It is the main road from the a38 to tourist hot spots such as kingsbridge and salcombe and is completely horrendous in the summer months. It is also used by a lot of very large lorries and agricultural vehicles and getting held up when two such vehicles try to pass each other is a daily occurrence.

As a holiday maker area people find it hard to pass each other at the best of time and the amount of accidents at the pinch points is a highly dangerous road should be a trunk road straight to kingsbridge.

It has been a priority since I first moved here nearly 40 years ago. It has only got worse with the increase in traffic and the size of vehicles slowly destroying the surface. Whether anyone at DCC is listening or showing any recognition is another matter. But it needs sorting.

Would be great to get this resolved before the summer flood of people that don't know how to reverse

I have regularly suffered hold ups on these stretches of road. They are seriously inadequate for the level of traffic.

The road between Wrangaton to Loddiswell would benefit from widening in certain areas and a 40mph speed limit

Dangerous road definitely avoid on change over day in summer.
