No Co-Pays for Arizonans reciving AHCCSS living below the poverty line.
Please sign this petition to Arizona governor Jan Brewer requesting that mandatory AHCCSS Co-Pays be eliminated for those who are living below the poverty line. Especially patents suffering from mental health issues that could pose a threat to them self or others by not receiving proper care and medications. The current mandatory co-pays is causing patents who have no income what so ever to not receive health care nor be able to have their prescriptions filled because they don’t have the co-pays. Dear governor. The reason I signed up for AHCCSS in the first place is I have mental health issues and have no money to afford a doctor. The mandatory co-pays are making it so the most indigent have to go without healthcare. $5 dollars might as ways be $5000, if you don’t have any money. Its against the law to panhandle in most cities, so where do think people are going to get this money. You should be taxing the ones out their that have the money to spare. Not the completely indigent! I’m going without preciously needed blood pressure medicines as well as my mental health prescriptions. Don’t you care at all that people who are suffering mental health conditions have their medications. Don’t you realize that by not having them your endangering the mental health patents as well as the general public. Please do something to eliminate the co-pays for at least the people that are living below the poverty line!
