Although I do not know Audrey very well, she is a good person who deserves the best. And hopefully her school helps her, instead of not respecting her, and using the wrong pronouns. Thanks!

Audrey is a close friend of mine and she deserves to have her rights. She is a girl, that is her gender. The fact that they won't accept that is ridiculous. She's working really hard to make Howard County schools a safe and respectful place for trans youth and I really believe she can do it.

I am appalled by this. I don't love Howard County for a lot of reasons, but one thing I thought they did well was control and try to rid schools of discrimination. It is one thing to not stop discrimination, but to perpetuate it is just wrong. Shame on you, Wilde Lake. I thought Howard County schools were better than that.

Everyone's different and has different opinions, so just because someone disagrees or complains about something doesn't mean you have to listen or accommodate to them.
