PLAYING WITH FIRE...HELP BAN CONSUMER FIREWORKS IN ARIZONA

The sale of fireworks needs to be banned in AZ ….our area sounds like a war zone for weeks around the holidays. 12/31/2024 was absolutely brutal from 6 PM till after 2 AM Fireworks were going off.

Stop the illegal fireworks.

Since local Police can't or won't Enforce the laws regarding fireworks that explode or are Aerial I'd like to see All consumer use Banned. They are a health hazard, a fire hazard, and it's absolutely ridiculous. What goes on twice a year, for Days to weeks with Fireworks

Stop the sales and all personal use of fireworks in ALL of Arizona.

Dangerous and illegal fireworks are being used in a very dangerous manner

I thought the huge ones were already illegal in neighborhoods...?

Arizona is too dry for Fireworks unless it is done by professionals!

This is the stupidest law Brewer signed almost as stupid as going into a bar with a gun...fireworks are nice but only done by experts in a safe area not in the neighborhood.. dogs being scared to pieces....STOP

Fireworks in a residential neighborhood are DANGEROUS! Dangerous to people, pets and property!

Something needs to be done about illegal fireworks. I’m for making all fireworks illegal.

I cannot use my fireplace any year for the weeks of Christmas and New Year because of air quality yet fireworks can be set off all of these weeks. Jan 1 the air quality is so bad we are told to stay indoors. In July we have fire restrictions yet we allow flaming projectiles to be set loose into dry landscapes. Fireworks are destroying our quality of life and need to be banned. Not just a few types. All fireworks not under professional control.

Fireworks should be restricted to specific areas and times for public viewing. Fireworks should not be sold to get general public.

Worse every year for illegal sale and use. Shortage of law enforcement that have other crimes to attend rather than searching for these offenders. The fire danger, pollution problem, overcrowding in Animal shelters, pain to our PTSD Veterans and just ruining so many others Holidays is so selfish and only greed on the part of the company's and politicians that benefit financially from these upsets. Never was this problem before Gov Jan Brewer passed backyard use in 2010. Stop this childish, selfish and greedy backyard fireworks and sales.

They are an unnecessary evil.

It’s getting ridiculous. Air. Pets. Vets. They all need a break and there is nowhere to escape. We’ve reached the tipping point.

It sounds like we are in a war zone. Sounds like dynamite to me and is illegal. What do we have to do?
