Having been teaching parkour for 7 years and training for 10 I can honestly say that giving people safe places to learn and explore is one of the most important things you can do. We have a park like this here in Inverness and it is used daily by people of all walks of life. The most interesting thing I found was that even people that don't do parkour lessons for have an interest in that side of thing still use the park. Our local parkour sees about 300 visitors a day from people of all ages!

This can only be positive for the area, and the youth having fun. Learning to move and exercise through the discipline of Parkour/Freerunning. It has been proven to reduce crime and give the youth a way to express themselves physically and creatively.

I think this would be a brilliant idea to both keep young people fit and introduce parkour/free running to the community, brilliant idea and I am fully behind it!

Friends have mine have inspired many people in the local area to do parkour and I think it would offer the community a much needed healthy activity in order to captivate the future of our generation

Parkour is a great way to get kids active and fit, as well as all looking for a new form of exercise. There are also coaches in the area that can use the facility to spread a correct and safe practice
