A very good idea.Presons need to restrain dogs ,so that they are not a danger to persons walking or cycling on the road.

Something needs to be done about this ASAP. Over a period of years, I and others have been confronted by dogs near Waves/ Four Seasons while walking Meads Bay Beach. Within the last 2 years, an elderly lady broke her leg running from these same dogs. Yet, these dogs are still threatening and going after people on what is suppose to be a public beach. The authorities are called and it stops for a while and starts again. In the last week this happened to me three times. The dog owner says this is her beach and this will teach me not to walk on her beach. I am a senior and I walk with a stick to protect myself. I cannot run from dogs. I have even had to get someone working on the beach to walk me past the dogs back in January 2020 because I did not have a stick at the time. This problem is real and a danger to the public. We walk. I run. Not much problem so far. There are however 2 pit bulls who are often running loose just past Ocean Terrace Condos on the left. There is a pen but the dogs escape.

Aggressive Dogs keeps interrupting my walks. I fear that one day I’ll be bitten. Dog owners, please secure your dogs.

This is long overdue. There are five dogs on one property in the area where I live that's a constant harrassment every morning.

Owners of such animals, by extention, have a responsibility to ensure the safety of the public.

I always walk with a piece of wood. I use it as extra weight and to knock a --------- out if need be!!!!

I've been bitten years ago for this same reason and i believe there are many ways to keep your dog on your property even if it is not fenced or has a wall, and if you cant keep your pet on your premises you shouldn't have a pet dog or cat, in other places around the world you could go to prison for your pet if its even abused.

Free rooming goats and sheep are also a big problem in the blowing point area.
