I can no longer enjoy this burger at A&W until it is exclusively vegan. I really should have lookes into it before having it.

Make the simple switch to vegan Hellmans for all of your sandwiches so as you change over to other ethical options the mayo will already reflect the efforts and not impede (eg your ethically sourced eggs)

There has been a huge response to this burger, as it sold out so quickly since it’s launch and with A&W just getting in more since Beyond Meat couldn’t keep up with demand.
Is it too much to ask for it to be fully vegan?

I was extremely excited to try a burger that tasted like meat but was actually vegan. As a vegan kid myself I have been told so many times that I should try a meat burger. I thought this was the time. I thought this would happen. So I went in to their website only to find that their burger goes on a grill that meat burgers usually go on. I was very disappointed as they said it was a 100% vegan burger. I mean c’mon! You went through the trouble of making a vegan burger and you can’t put it on a seperate grill!? Does a&w realize there’s so much of vegans and vegetarians! Unbelievable

LOVE that there’s a vegan option at a&w !! But lots vegans will not eat them if cooked in meat juice.

Keeping a separate grill and option of not having those sauces or using vegan mayo would be awesome!

Love the burger, hate that it's cooked on the same grill with their meat burgers, bacon and eggs. As much as I love the beyond meat burger, I haven't purchased another one after finding out that they are cooked on the same grill as the meat burgers, bacon and eggs. Get a separate grill for the beyond meat burgers and your can gladly have my hard earned money. #veganlife

Applaud the effort but A&W missed the mark on this one if their intent was actually to cater to vegans. Something tells me the company is only interested in capitalizing on the vegan bandwagon. C’mon A&W, prove me wrong!

Simply put a divider on the grill. Enough for 4 or 6 patties.

Please make this vegan - no mayo and no cheese and no cooking it on the same grill as hamburger meat. You can use fake cheese (there is lots on the market). That is is gross!
