People who choose this new menu option will do so because they want a meat/dairy/egg free meal choice. They should not then have to further specify that that don't want buns and condiments containing meat/dairy/egg products. This oversight is going to turn away potential customers who are following a plant-based diet, especially if they find out the "plant-based" burger they ordered contained those products AFTER they consumed them.
Congratulations to A&W for taking this step in the right direction for the health of the planet, and I hope this introduction is presented as the first fully vegan burger option from a national fast food chain.

The Beyond Meat burger is one of the most popular vegan burgers on the market. We’re all so excited that A&W will be serving this burger, but it can easily be offered as a vegan burger so please consider using vegan condiments as opposed to mayos and sauces that contain dairy and/or eggs. Thank you!!!

Why go half way? You have the worlds most popular plant based burger. You're essentially first yo market in canada with it. The only reason you're adding it to your menu is because of the surge of people eating a plant based diet, the majority of which take issue with cross contamination, dairy or eggs in the condiments or bun. C'mon A&W it's amazing what you're doing! Take it all the way!

All of the vegans will go elsewhere to eat. It doesn't make sense to offer a vegan burger and then make it not vegan by adding non vegan condiments. Please make this choice all vegan.

What's the point of having a vegan option if it's not really vegan?

Kudos to A&W for introducing a plant-based burger. I haven’t eaten at your restaurant in decades but this could get me back as a customer. So handy as there are A&W restaurants all over. Please make it vegan so I can eat, enjoy and be way more likely to spend my money at A&W. please address the concern about meat residue getting on my burger, because if you take steps to actively avoid cross-contamination, vegans are a very loyal and appreciative customer base.

I love that A&W is bringing the beyond burger to its menu. However myself and I'm sure many other people will not buy it if it's cooked on the same grill as meat burgers. I will opt to cook my own at home like I currently do.

If they are bringing in a veggie burger, everyone should be able to eat it. Some people have actual allergies to meat, dairy, and eggs. They should have options.
