I appreciate very much the chance to have a vegan burger on the menu. It would be wonderful to be able to go out for a burger and a root beer again! Please consider how many more customers you would have if you put the burger in a bun with no dairy or egg and if you used veganaise formthe dressing. There is a growing number of vegans, especially among young people, and this is your chance to offer something that the other burger places don’t.

I'm all for this petition. This is all about business for A & W so they are making a big mistake by continuing to exclude the very customers they would otherwise gain by not going the extra step (not a mile!)

Defaulting to vegan makes sense both from a business and an ethics standpoint. I know a lot of vegans who don't want to have to ask for substitution as the risk for mistakes is huge. Make the burger vegan by default and mistakes cannot happen. It makes service easier too since a great percentage of people will ask for the substitution, thus complicating the cooks' work.

A&W you have stepped up and offered a excellent vegan pattie so thank you for that❤️ . Could you please go a little further to ensure that the whole sandwich is actually vegan with vegan mayo and a vegan bun. There are a lot of us out here and we would greatly appreciate your support.

I was really excited to first hear of this burger. Now, I really don't even see why it was released? Any true vegan isn't going to eat it when it's cooked on the same grill as the meat burgers. Very disappointment. Definitely won't be getting orders from me for this unless it's 100% vegan
