If it's vegan, it should be vegan, easy.

it's surprising to learn that this dish isn't vegan in the first place. It only makes sense....

Paired with Hellmann's vegan mayo recipe, this burger would be PERFECT! Thanks A&W for adding a plant based patty to your menu!! I will wait for the meatless chubby chick'un strips!!!

Shout out to A&W for trying to make a difference, but try a little harder and you'll have all the vegans on your side!

It is easy to make the entire burger vegan. Mayo does not need animal products and you can make a sauce that is vegan friendly. Dedicate a part of the grill for the vegan burgers. These simple changes will make a huge difference.

Please adhere to your plant based customers. This burger will be getting you a lot of business that you don't want to lose!

Please don’t cook the beyond burger on the same grill as the meat, more customers will come if it’s 100% plant based!

Why have a Vegan Burger if you are going to add dairy based condiments and cook it on the same grill as meat? This is not a Vegan burger. Please reconsider this stance and I am sure you will capture a large market share from your competitors.

I think the cost of changes to make your burger vegan is small compared to the market you will capture from competitors like Harvey's. It will make a much stronger position against your competitors and open a new market for you.

I appreciate the concept of the plant-based burger, but as a vegan I would never order one if it’s cooked on the same grill as meat. Red Robin offers a vegan burger cooked on a separate grill, so I have eaten there & would enjoy the opportunity to do the same at A & W.

Vegans want to support this, we were proud. This was a game changer! I was there on day one and was under the belief I only had to ask for no mayo. I even asked about the fries and was told they are cooked on a different side of the kitchen then meats. Now disappointed I can say unless I hear it’s cooked separately I won’t go back and I won’t support it. So sad to here this.

Appreciate the effort of having a plant based product but I can't eat it because it's not vegan in it's preparation. Would love to see a change in the right direction.

Carrying this non-meat patty is a great start, and I hope other chains follow the lead. But until such time as this patty can be offered in it's true vegan glory, I'll continue to not spend a dime at A&W.

One of your locations (Broadview and Gerrard) just opened in my neighborhood so I'll be a regular if you make it fully vegan by default.
