During some research, we had come to realize that poverty effected education. We compared neighborhoods and found that teens in neighborhoods facing poverty dropped out of school to help their family. We want to show awareness of this because education is important and it helps us with our future. More education means better jobs, which means more money. If teens continue with their education, they would be able to overcome poverty

im still reading through all the stories people are posting about how hard it is to balance school and helping out at home. it really shows how much this cycle needs to be broken so everyone can actually focus on their future.

seeing this take off is honestly wild and it feels like people are really waking up to how hard it is to stay in school when things are tight at home. its clear so many of you get why this issue matters and i am so grateful for the energy behind this.

In my house hold education is important because my parents always say "keep up the good work in school so you would have a successful life in the future." Our adults telling us to keep going and having plans for the future and what you want to become and how it's going to help you with what your doing now.
School is a object that will get us a education and grow in college to get a degree and to become the women or man our parents always wanted us to become .
I agree that education is important, but sometimes it's hard for "the minority" to finish because They already have a lot to deal with outside of school
I think this is a very good cause because it shows awareness of a topic that is so sad. I hope this topic receives justice so anyone who is dealing with this type of situation may have a solution.
Even though school is extremely boring it really is important and we take it for grant it sometimes...

In my household, education is really important because I am the only daughter in the house and my parents expects me to do the things that a girl is suppose to be doing. My parents telling me that I should always stay on track and become a strong person but at the same time, they make me do things in my household that I don't choose to do. But this does help me understand everyday that my education is important.
