I think Avril Lavigne is a remarkable and naturally gifted musician. She sold more than 30 million albums and 50 million singles. She has multiple number 1 songs worldwide and has written for many other artsists some great hits. She is in the music scene for 14 years and she has an undeniable impact in this industry. I'm not sure why she hasn't received a nomination yet but I think its time for this to happen. I believe she is very deserving of this great honor. Let's put her star in the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

I keep listening to her older albums and I am reminded again of how much she shaped the sound of a generation. It is frustrating that the committee continues to overlook her massive contributions to music history. Please keep reading through the personal stories people are leaving here because they prove why this recognition is long overdue.

Seeing this level of support for Avril is honestly overwhelming because her music has been the soundtrack to so many of my own life moments. The momentum is growing so quickly and it proves that her influence is undeniable.

I think her accomplishments speak for her. After all she is one of only few artists who doesn't need Auto tune which rare now-a-days.
Avril Lavigne deserves a star since she paved her way as the rock n roll princess. She recently made a comeback and is stronger than ever!
Avril deserves a hollywood star not only because she is an amazing and very talented artist, but because she does a lot of work for charities and children with special needs. Avril is a wonderful, genuine, caring, philanthropic person.
She is really talented and the songs have different meanings. She is unlike other singers who produce music for general public interest. She got her own style and transfer message by music but not for sale only.
She should get a star

She's a queen, once I traveled to Hollywood and got disappointed because I couldn't find her star, I walked around for hours searching for it. Years later I realised that it wasn't even a star... She deserves it :( please give it to her
