This is an neighborhood/Avondale event to support children with special needs. What a great illustration of a caring community. Don't hide this event on the Greenway. Keep in a visible part of our way of life!

Hello! It goes without saying that this race benefits a great cause. The other benefits of this race has to do with the "West Trashley" community's perception. We are the largest tax base in the city, with the largest population. The city manages to shut down the entire downtown area multiple times a year, yet won't block off 3 streets, (where people have plenty of other ways to leave the area. I know this, because I live on Anita Dr.). I'm also a part of the Magnolia Neighborhood anx we fully support this race.

As a West Ashley resident and a proponent of the continued revitalization of the Avondale business community, I think it;s highly advantageous to continue to host this race in this lovely area - and invite those from around Charleston to discover its charm!

This has always been my favorite race of the year. I have noticed more residents, not running, coming out to support the race. Think it will be a tremendous disappointment for a lot of people, not only Charles Webb Center, should this race be moved because it will lose a lot of its support.
