As a runner in this race for several years this is a family friendly and safe race that showcases a wonderful neighborhood and is for a great cause! Please keep the race in Avondale!

This race is for an extra special school in West Ashley. Avondale is a quiet, upcoming area of our city. The lovely neighborhood is delightful to run or walk in. It's safe and there is lots of parking available.

Please keep the Avondale 5K in place. It is a wonderful community event, and it would be a huge loss for the participants, neighborhood residents, and charitable beneficiaries if the race were not allowed to continue.

I believe that the A5K needs to stay right where it is. It would seem foolish to call it the A5K and running it across the JI Connector or the IOP Connector. Can't the 'powers that be' leave this alone? For once, don't make a stupid decision based on someone's knee jerk reaction.
