A Vista needs to be put in check. It is ridiculous that they are allowed to get away with such unethical business practices. Stop them from ripping off the consumers they monopolize.

These prices are ridiculous and if Avista didn't have a monopoly on power and there was a way to go to another provider I would. It's time to stop screwing over everyone and making us choose between paying the insane prices or having to go without power and freeze. I'm sick and tired of my bill being raised I can't afford it. We are a young family that can barely make ends meet as is and can't survive when the power bill gets jacked up

I absolutely agree with this all. My bill went from 170 to 433 in a 27 day billing period (taking out the 3 days I was out of power) the lady gave me a bunch of what ifs and could never answer the questions I spoke to at Avista... I understand colder months raise bills, BUT for my bill to double when we didn't change anything with our furnace or anything makes no sense at all. The avista bill in this house hasn't been anymore than 190 in this home. So $433 is absolutely ridiculous and makes no sense.

I think that they're stealing our money. I called them and asked why my bill was so high and they told me cause they go off last years bill. I asked them why cause I'm trying to do certain things this year to save on energy and save money as well. And that I don't think that its fair they didn't have any real explanation..... I think that something needs to be done about this....

This company told me if I didn't like my high bills to get over it because there was nothing I could do about it because there the only company that I can get electricity from. This is unconstitutional.
Our gas bill has tripled in recent months.
