Avalon at Argyle Homeowners Demand HOA Turnover, Financial Audit, and Full Transparency
We, the homeowners of Avalon at Argyle, are calling for immediate action from CADG Avalon at Argyle LLC (DR Horton) and the HOA management company.
According to Town of Argyle records, Avalon at Argyle was approved for only three (3) phases, all of which are fully built and sold.
Yet the Declarant continues to control the HOA, and recently claimed they plan to “move forward with construction of additional lots” — even though no Phase 4 has been approved by the Town or County.
In addition, Denton CAD records and the approved Argyle Landing ordinance show that the land adjacent to our community belongs to Argyle Landing, not Avalon at Argyle.
We believe these actions violate Texas Property Code §209.00593 and Texas Local Government Code Chapter 232, and we are demanding:
1️⃣ Immediate HOA board turnover to residents, as required by law.
2️⃣ An independent third-party CPA audit of all HOA financial records (Jan 2022–present).
3️⃣ Full disclosure of any development or plat filings related to “Phase 4” or beyond.
4️⃣ Transparency and accountability in all HOA spending and decision-making.
