The original design of the program was good. Unfortunately many businesses especially in California were able to open for four weeks and then shut back down again. My business shut down March 17 through June 1, reopened June 1 and then had to shut down again June 30. We cannot properly use the program if we are not open. Businesses with a PPP loan of less than $150,000 are small mom and pop businesses that need even more help than PPP was able to offer. Definitely forgive all loans under 150,000

Very important to not only keep small businesses alive! This also highly affects real estate deals as well.

Linda Rutledge Doing the pandemic i remained open so that my parents could work on the front line and not have to worry about who and how they were suppose to work and worry about their children.I need you to forgive this loan so my hard work would not have been invain . as a small business owner of a Family Child Care the amount I ask for was a help .To pay back such a small amount would mean that my business failed doing this pandemic just for trying to keep the children safe. Please forgive the loan as it would have been a blessing for the business. August 14,2020

Must have this happen in order to truly meet the spirit of the PPPs initial purpose.

If passed, this Act would allow me to focus on rebuilding my business following the pandemic without the distraction of completing a mountain of paperwork.
