This is the most hurtful thing I have ever read concerning autism. My child is autistic and I do not as a parent view autism to affect our lives the way this reads. Shame on you Autism Speaks for even posting such a thing

I support the boycott of Autism speaks. When an autistic person with a heart of gold cries because this shady organization puts out horrible propaganda and is rewarded with money, I truly now know evil does exist in the heart of greedy people.

Autism Speaks is a joke of an organization. They claim to fund research and do all sorts of good in the autism community, but that remains to be seen. When I moved to a new city, I contacted them for help in locating resources for my severely autistic child. My phone calls and emails were ignored, yet two months later I started receiving phone calls on a constant basis from them, asking me for money. A horrible organization!
