this would be a great idea for these kids as i have a 21 year old son who ive taught life skills and is totally independent but worry about whats going to happen to him in the future

I am a mother who has a son on the spectrum. I would like to see more services come available to children/adults who have Autism. My son will be attending school next September and its scary that resources stop. I hope good changes are a head. We all need the help.. Thank you Christina

Autism Rights, based in Scotland, would like to support this petition.
We are a group of parents and grandparents of people with autism who campaign for the rights of people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. You can find out more about us on our website:-

We have been campaigning for the past few years on the abuse of people with ASD within the mental health system which, under Scots law, includes people with ASD in the provisions of the Mental Health Act (Scotland) under the cover-all definition of `mental disorder`.
We recently submitted written evidence to the Scottish Parliament's Health and Sport committee for their scrutiny of the new Mental Health Bill, as this new Bill will not make the changes we want:-

There is a similar deficit of specialist adult provision for people with ASD in Scotland, with some adults ending up in the mental health system where they are drugged with toxic psychotropic drugs, destroying their health and mental health in the process.
