In this time of emergency there is one very small industry of retailers that should remain open to help local communities: the independent vacuum (Sew & Vac) stores.

In America there are around 2,000 small mom and pop vacuum stores. Many offer jansan (janitorial supply) products such as toilet paper, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, and more that their local community is in desperate need of at this time.

I urge you to please add “retail vacuum stores” to your essential list of permitted businesses allowed to remain open during this time of crisis facing our nation and the world. They are a vital piece of the puzzle to help prevent spreading of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus.
