I have 2 kids in D20. The District MUST adopt the FASTER (Faculty Administrator Safety Training & Emergency Response) program! It is far beyond time we harden up these very soft targets!

Our first line of protection for our students is our teachers. If they desire to conceal carry and receive proper training, they should be allowed to carry.

Is anyone willing to run for a seat on the school board? A few years ago I tried repeatedly to get the school board to consider the FASTER program. They pretty much ignored me. We only have one ally on the board. The others need to be replaced.

I 100% stand behind everything this petition holds. If we don’t give them the tools to fight back, then we all have blood on our hands. Gun control laws aren’t effective and it’s being proven week after week. Mental health is the issue we need to concentrate on, but until we do this our teachers, and our kids should have a fighting chance!
