Age care workers do more then ppl think coming from a daughter of an age care worker they are tough and have to come home and act like there day was perfect. Even though they might have lost a patient or even been under stuffed

As a support worker in the Community sector I work the same set roster the same set hours yet am casual. No being offered permanent part time, no holiday pay or sick pay. Many workers only take a week of holiday a year as they simply can't afford too. I enjoy my job but it's certainly not the pay that keeps me in the industry.

As an RN l noted most politicians don’t bother coming in to visit their relatives whilst in care.

Thanks for all of the support so far. This will effect thousands of residents and carers across the nation, so it's vital to all share it on social media and promote it to local papers if you can. Aged carers need a change!!!

This petition rings home to me. I work in this industry and enjoy the work.
