We are a group of students who have applied for a student visa subclass 500 for the February intake, and unfortunately we are forced to stay anonymous in conveying this, because this might influence our visa application outcomes. Most of us have lodged our visas in the previous months, and we haven't received any response yet from the embassy, and we are torn between rumours here and there, some say the visa quota for Feb intake is full, some say level 2 Universities will not get priority assessments, while some say Universities are cancelling CoEs.

Every student has invested months of their time in the extensive application process, most of us more than 6 months, arranging every document, some have spent months in an education loan process, but it seems very unfair that only a few universities (not to be named) are being preferred, even though every student has made similar efforts. Our intake is almost here, and we have no certainty whether we will even receive a response or we'll have to defer, and even in that case if we will receive a positive response or refusal.

We understand that there is a huge backlog in the processing, but it's in no way fair to the students who genuinely want to commence their studies in Australia, who have spent their precious time and money in pursuing this dream, and are now forced to wait, without any certainty.

We humbly request the concerned people, to please take immediate action on this issue and not bet on the future of innocent students.
