Aurum Preparatory Academy is proposed to open in Fall of 2017 with 120 sixth grade students and will continue to grow by one grade level per year through Grade 12.

The feedback regarding our core educational principles has been incredibly constructive during this phase of the campaign. I am currently finalizing a series of formal proposals to present to the local school board to ensure our vision for Aurum Preparatory Academy remains a primary point of discussion.

Yes! We need more grass roots movements like this that are taking ownership of their own schools!
The structure of this school will provide wonderful opportunities for our children.
More charter schools means more choice to find the perfect "home" for our kids.
I live in Oakland and I am looking for an excellent education for my son and I believe this school will provide it.
Aurum Prep Academy sounds like it is taking public schooling to a new standard, hopefully ushering in a new era to inner-city schooling and highlighting the scholastic prowess in inner-city school children, often passed on by expensive private high prep schools, Ivy-League colleges, and top companies within 15 miles neighborhoods where these children grow up.
